Port 27?

Tue Dec 29, 2020 12:23 pm

Good Morning,
I awoke to an email indicating that our bonded interface changed state on our WS-26-400-AC running 1.5.2 firmware. Why this happened is still a mystery; no correlating log entries on the attached router.

But what is port 27 on a 26 port switch?

Dec 28 19:05:53 STP: msti 0 set port 1 to forwarding

The logs suggest that all of our customers on this site lost net for three seconds...
Any thoughts are appreciated.

Happy New Year.

I believe it is perhaps a virtual port initiated by LACP; aliens too.
