RMA Fail?

I sent in RMA#20210014 and the rma notes state that:

"
Boots- v1.5.5
Current Sensors-passed
MOSFETs-passed
LINKs- passed
Other-rack tested for 24 hours on 23V
Replaced/Fixed- cannot fix a problem im not seeing."

ok fair enough maybe something got bumped in shipment and it worked for your guy but now I have it back and there is a part rattling around inside. sounds about marble sized so it clunks! I dont really want to break the yellow sticker seal to test unless you guys advise. I can certainly open it up and see if something just came loose but I dont want to void the warranty if I don't need to.

should I send it back with a new RMA or should I just open it up?

Bump, I just need to know if you want me to open the switch and see if its a simple case of a screw coming loose. I dont want to void the warranty. if that isnt the case then I need another RMA

We have not sealed the chassis for years. The only yellow sticker i know of is the one on the static bag which you have to open to get the unit out.

Go ahead and open it.

the fan hub and blades popped loose. it snapped back in with a nice click and seems pretty stable. boots up fine and given that it was only lightweight plastic bouncing around in there, no damage done. Thanks
