The below presented example is upgrading to 1.5.6, but it also has the same symptoms when updating to 1.5.5 and 1.5.8.
The STP tab will only show one port as seen in my attached screenshot.

The Status Page will show high CPU load and the Fan test gives no status.

Last but not least, the Log Page shows vtss_appl and snmpd restarting regularly with the time not set.

I have seen this happen on at least 5 different switches (all variations of 12 port DC and AC switches). I have about 80 to 100 of these switches in my network and I want to be able to update them without a truck roll to factory reset.
Resolutions to the point.
1. Flash switch back to 1.5.3.
2. Factory reset switch after upgrade (requires truck roll and extra downtime to rebuild configuration from scratch).
3. ??? This worked once but I have not been able to try to replicate... Disable STP and then re-enable it (You lose network access to the switch). Reboot the switch through console. (this requires less downtime than a factory reset, but still requires a truck roll).
I would like a solution where the firmware upgrade process processes the upgrade correctly and does not require one of the three steps mentioned.
