It appears that if a port description is edited the associated ping watchdog description is not, nor can it be edited.

I upgraded a switch from 1.2.0rc8 and now cannot access the SNMP values.

The newer firmware now no longer supports snap v1 because of security concerns

Well, I changed dude to use version 2 and now the snmp is totally unstable. It shows correctly for one polling cycle, then zero for the next. The table of available devices keeps changing, etc. for my purposes, snmp is now officially broken.

I'm down at shore right now but i am headed back later today.

Other people are using snmp ok just not v1?

We disabled v1 by request for security reasons.

I will talk to Eric about it later today

What version of The Dude are you using. I'm testing with 3.6 on Windows 7 and it seems to work perfectly. Also testing with SnmpB, which also works fine.
