swapping power supplies

if I have 2 12 250s, one AC and one DC, one with a dead board and one with a dead power supply, how do you tell the board that it now has a DC PSU?

Sorry, you can't mix and match AC & DC unit components (boards).

that's understandable, thanks for the response Chris, I've bene trying to reach out to you guys for ages now re: repairs.
here's a question: can I send you a bin file and pay you to convert it to DC?

No, that would not work as the configuration we use to define the model and MAC and such is stored on a different location than the normal config and firmware.

I mean a BIN of the whole flash chip, ie. pulled from the board and read in a TL866
