Thanks.

Yes, go to where you download the firmware and then all the post below that post (the first post) show all the changes from one version to the next starting from the beginning.

I got loop and the management vlan only work on local untagget ports on the switch direct not on tagget or trunk ports
same error on firmware v1.2.3 and v1.2.4

Only the management vlan have this problem described.

and i have a redundant fiber/kobber link from my main ISP terminated in a brokade switch then i have 2 trunk link kobber/RJ45 kabels connected to the same Netonix switch this is giving loop on the switch with firmware v1.2.3 and v1.2.4

So Eric and I are having a hard time following your setup, could you try and describe your setup again.

Also please post your config tabs and if possible a simple network diagram and we will get right on this.

For now just turn Loop Protection off under the Device/Configuration Tab.

The false loop detection/protection that I described in the related thread seems to be fixed in 1.2.4. Loaded on 2 switches with no issues here. But obviously Hightech is still finding something with his setup.

Thanks Chris and Erik!

I'm still getting false loop detection on a 6 mini with 1.2.2

Jul 23 10:04:39 Loop protection: disabling port 3 for 180 seconds Jul 23 10:07:40 Loop protection: re-enabling port 3 Jul 23 10:57:27 Loop protection: disabling port 3 for 180 seconds Jul 23 11:00:29 Loop protection: re-enabling port 3 Jul 23 11:01:12 Loop protection: disabling port 3 for 180 seconds Jul 23 11:04:13 Loop protection: re-enabling port 3 Jul 23 11:04:56 Loop protection: disabling port 3 for 180 seconds Jul 23 11:07:57 Loop protection: re-enabling port 3 Jul 23 11:10:31 Loop protection: disabling port 3 for 180 seconds Jul 23 11:13:32 Loop protection: re-enabling port 3 Jul 23 11:14:45 Loop protection: disabling port 3 for 180 seconds Jul 23 11:17:47 Loop protection: re-enabling port 3 Jul 23 11:18:29 Loop protection: disabling port 3 for 180 seconds Jul 23 11:21:31 Loop protection: re-enabling port 3 Jul 23 11:21:38 Loop protection: disabling port 3 for 180 seconds Jul 23 11:24:40 Loop protection: re-enabling port 3 Jul 23 11:28:09 Loop protection: disabling port 3 for 180 seconds Jul 23 11:31:10 Loop protection: re-enabling port 3

Port 3 is a VLAN trunk port connecting to an AP. The AP only has one customer on it right now and that customer is inside a vlan. We are 100% sure there are no loops.

1) I reformatted your Log to be human readable *see below*
2) You are 2 firmware versions out of date, we only address issues on the current firmware version
3) This was fixed in the current version already release on July 15, 2015 - Click HERE to go download the current firmware
4) I moved your post into the proper thread.
