field tech info and cc collection?
How are you guys handling in-field information collection? We are currently on Quickbooks (Desktop vs) and basically doing it all manually.

Hey Mike here from iwisp, since we are currently are focused on CRM part of our application i would like to know what would you like - wished the process to be.
Are you using contractor for installations or you do this with your staff? i 'm asking this since the procedure must be different on each option.

Mike, not looking for anything big and our current setup for monitoring is working well.
To answer your question, yes we use contractors for installs.

Re: field tech info and cc collection?
So in this case Contractors should be able to contact (with some way - Tablet app or something) the main "server" and ONLY for their assigned installation Tasks to be able to pull a form where they will fill the necessary data. The app must have also an e-sign field so the client signs for the installation data (speed - signal results and installation overall quality). Also there must be a way to give the tablet to client so he can fill the CC info without passing that data to installer for security reasons.
