Non-Smart DC Switches - Max Power Consumption

The max power consumption stat on the non-smart DC switches excludes POE budget, however, there still has to be a per-port or power-bus maximum (whichever is smaller). For the purposes of DC fuse sizing, what is that maximum? I appreciate knowing what the unloaded draw is but I think others would also appreciate the fully-loaded stat. While this would apply to all non-smart DC switches, today I have a need to determine this for the WS-12-DC. Please advise.

The switch will use about 8 watts baseline (no poe, no linked ports).
About 1/2 watt additional for each port when linked.

Each port power pair is capable of 0.75 amps POE. The 48 Volt board trace can handle 12 amps. Which is around 576 watts.

Common sense needs to step in at this point and back that off a bit. I think you are ok to use a fuse rated for 400 watts, which would be 8 amps, assuming you were
feeding it 50 volts.

Thanks and this answers my question. I would ask, however, that if for no reason other than RMA and warranty, that the spec sheet display a loaded max power output number in addition to the unloaded.
