Installed a new WS-6 Mini this morning. It's 106 Degrees outside but we routinely get temps up to 122f (Like last week). Should I be worried? Bad unit? I read somewhere that the cpu temps sensors have a pretty wide range so it could be off?
I have about a dozen of these outside in the same boxes pulling around the same wattage and they don't get nearly as hot. Hottest one on the network besides this one is at 107C right now.
Not sure why the CPU says - (minus). It was around 126 a few min ago before I did the screenshot.
Thanks

I would install vents in the box
One high and one low to allow air flow

Per this thread: viewtopic.php?f=21&t=2699&p=18867&hilit=mini+24v#p18867
I had the same question before ordering mine.

Re: WS6-Mini Running Hot!
We removed 24VH and added 24V and 48V as the only radio on the market that needs 24VH currently is Ignite Metrolink which has been shown to work with our 24V
If you want to power an AFX radio then use 48VH on port 2 as talked about in this post
viewtopic.php?f=6&t=1215#p9040
More people wanted 24V on port 2 then 24VH and if you used 24VH on an airMAX radio it went POOF
