Yesterday, we re-terminated the cable at both ends and then we tried a different port on the WS-12-DC switch with the same behavior. Then we set the port to 100-auto and left the customer on-line at lower capacity until now.
Today we went back with new radio (Ignitenet ML2.5-60-35). Now the port flaps between 1 Gbps, 100 Mbps and down. The cable test is still perfect.
Any ideas what could be going on?

Re: Cable test OK but port flaps btwn 100 Mbps & 1 Gbps
This issue was finally resolved as an Ignitenet problem, even though we had replaced the Ignitenet radio once with the same result.
In the end the problem was eliminated by using the original cable for PoE power only and adding a second cable to a copper SFP module plugged into the radio's SFP+ cage. Using separate cables for power and data solved the problem.
I had never seen this problem before but one of our techs came forward and pointed out we have run into this with an Ignitenet radio once before which was also fixed by separating PoE power from the data.
I'm posting on the Ignitenet support site now... :)
