impossible ports
I am building a monitoring software that is capable of getting the MAC from a radio, looking it up in the MAC table of our netonix switches, cross referencing that to the port number and then getting the port speed. I have the OID's for all of these things but the problem is that we are using WS-12-250-DC switches and I have 2 that report ports 25 and 26 as options but it is only a 12 port switch. They are running 1.5.5rc3 firmware. Any ideas?

Re: impossible ports
Update - I found some other issues as to why it was getting the wrong port but for curiosity sake, does anyone know why there are possible ports 25 and 26 in the mac table section of the MIB?

Re: impossible ports
Yes, these are the SFP ports, internally the switch's core enumerate's them in this way. There is some glue-code that translate's them for the web UI and the console. It needs to be applied to SNMP as well. For now, just know that 25 and 26 are SFP ports.
