Hey Everyone,
I have a question about these mini switches and I am hoping that I can get a answer to it and I apologize in advance if this is a dumb question. So I understand that port 1 is a special port and the documentation states:
Note:
Port 1 will accept passive 48VH (48-56V) using all 4 pairs like a POE
injector used to power an airFIBER 24 GHz.
however, since that port has an indicator light that shows that is is 24V but when I log into the switch it says the PoE is off, can i safely use that as a local LAN connection on a customers network? or if not which port do you recommend?
Thanks Everyone!

Re: WS-6-Mini Port 1
Yes, there is no power. Use it as PoE input, or as a non PoE port.

Actually they use that LED to indicate the switch has power, not that the port has PoE enabled.
On the following page it states:
https://netonix.com/wisp-switch/ws-6-mini.html
If powering the WS-6-MINI with a 48-56V barrel connector power supply
port 1 has no POE options, it is just a standard Ethernet port.
