We use temperature compensated chargers at our sites so float voltage on the bank can get up to 55-56 Volts. With the nameplate rating of 53V I'm concerned about frying the switch. I'd prefer not to add a regulator or decrease the voltage on the bank. Can the WS-12-DC stand up to the higher voltage?
Most 48V telecom equipment I've used has a max voltage of 57 to allow for increased charge voltages. ETSI and ITU standards allow for voltages up to 57V.
