Didn't happen yesterday. Looks to be stuck 350 km away in Winnipeg with no ETA.
Where is that crying-into-my-beer smiley when I need it?

Power Over/Under Consumption

Tue Sep 21, 2021 12:59 pm

Hey everyone,

We have a ws-12-250-dc switch one port is using 40.3 watts 4-5 times as much power as the other two. We've seen that on another switch as well — where we saw it only using a fraction of a WATT and we know it efficient using only 6-10 watts but less than one can't be right, and 40 is way to much. Do you know why this is happening?\

Is there a firmware that can fix this? Please let me know! Thanks

Not likely a firmware issue but rather damaged current sensors. A quick search for damaged current sensor might give you insight into how that may have happened.

Is there a chart somewhere - or can anyone measure - the power consumption at idle for more switches? Specifically I'm trying to compare the WS-8-150-DC to the WS-12-250-DC at ~idle.
