Feature request: manual reboot after firmware upgrade
I would like to be able to upgrade a firmware without rebooting the switch like Cambium ePMP, maybe just a reboot now or later bouton once the firmware flashed.

Upgrade it daytime and reboot it at night. When you wake up to upgrade a firmware, the last thing you want is wait 10 minutes for the firmware to flash. If some want to take the risk, maybe schedule the reboot would be nice too.

AFAIK the switch keeps on working while it is being flashed. Even the soft reboot doesn't drop PoE. It misses a few pings and then business as usual.mike99 wrote:...the last thing you want is wait 10 minutes for the firmware to flash...

Correct. I have upgraded switches in a chain that feed live audio to a radio station. The station drops approximately 3 seconds of audio and then comes right back.
