Radius Authentication

Radius Authentication

Good day

I have a ws-12-dc firmware 1.4.9.
I would like to use radius for authentication to log into the switch.
Is this possible on this device?

I am using Freeradius and it gives me the following error when I try to auth.
Ignoring request to authentication address * port 1812 from unknown client 192.168.0.12 port 44075.

Thank you in advance.

If you go to the DEVICE/CONFIGURATION TAB and scroll down you will see a place to configure Radius authentication.
Support is handled on the Forums not in Emails and PMs.
Before you ask a question use the Search function to see it has been answered before.
To do an Advanced Search click the magnifying glass in the Search Box.
To upload pictures click the Upload attachment link below the BLUE SUBMIT BUTTON.

Hi Sirhc

That is where I did the config.
But I get the following error on the radius server: Ignoring request to authentication address * port 1812 from unknown client 192.168.0.12 port 44075.
I know the radius server is working my Mikrotik devices are authenticating.

This would suggest that the switch is not defined in /etc/freeradius/clients.conf

I use a mysql database and the device is defined in the nas table. Just like the working Mikrotik devices.
