10G uplinks
I could really really use a DC switch with 10G uplinks! I know this has been mentioned before but I want to make another post.

Re: 10G uplinks
I could use an only SFP and SFP+ port switch. Model A: 12 ports SFP + 2 ports SFP+ Model B: 20 port SFP + 4 port SFP

Re: 10G uplinks
I have been wondering about this switch.

Would they really build this switch without SFP+ ?
Are we being left in the dark, or are they that far out of touch?

Re: 10G uplinks
out of touch. I mean, 12x 1Gb ports with no high capacity uplink? What are you supposed to do? use 6 ports and LAG 6 together? LAG the 4 copper ports to have a 3:1 deficit in uplink?
I get it to some degree, if you were fiber feeding radios on the tower then you might not really be using the 1Gb capacity... but how many ubiquiti radios are fiber fed? -zero-
The only think tower side with fiber they have is the EdgePoint units, but those have switch ports so I'm no seeing the benefit of a rack mounted SFP only switch.
This thing should absolutely have 2 SFP+ ports.
ANY 12 SFP ports needs 2 SFP+ ports for uplink.
Weird.

Re: 10G uplinks
We're deploying a Siklu 70/80Ghz 5Gb FDD backhaul link to one of our main tower sites this month, and I could've swore that the Netonix had SFP+ 10G ports. Guess I'll just have to use a Mikrotik CCR
Re: 10G uplinks
I have been using the Cisco 4500 switch for 10G network. I admire the VSS feature of the switch most. Also I have bought several SFP+ modules from fs.com. They are just fully compatible with my original devices.

The WS2 line is due to be released in Q1 2018 which will have SFP+ ports and possibly some copper 10/100/1000/10G ports

Re: 10G uplinks
Really looking forward to the WS2 line. Not that they're difficult to work with at all as is, but having a 10G SFP+ uplink port or two would make some of our future builds so much easier!

Re: 10G uplinks
I'm extremely interested in one or better two SFP+ ports. Increasingly, we're using 2-5 Gbps radios (70/80 GHz) on backbone routes (rings) dropping off Gbps connections at intermediate buildings. So we need at least two SFP+ ports.
