I have my prototype shield ready for the LiteBeam AC-120 AP (LBE‑5AC‑16‑120). Haven't tried it yet, just got it from my blacksmith....
If only I could find a nut with same screw thread I could tighten the shield to the AP....
@sirhc The blacksmith told me it was easy to make the shield. So please, start a production (it's to expensive to have small batches made). Also I'm sure you could make a nut to use....

I don't think the mount will hold up. Even fully tightened, I can still move the LBE with my hands. They have a low wind profile so it's fine, but a shield like this will catch MUCH more wind. Maybe add a small hitch to the back of the shield and a support rod to a pipe clamp.
I hate to be too enthusiastic, but the LBE sector is really great. $/performance, it's ubnt's best sector... I'd *LOVE* to see 2 shield kits. A 120degree basic kit like pictured (with a little help to the mount) and a 90degree kit to pull in the edges.
One nice thing is that the radio is actually down towards the bottom instead of behind the mount, so it shouldn't be too leaky.

I haven't tested the LiteBeam AC-AP yet. But I hope it will give value for the money, even though it maybe isn't worlds best antenna.
For me it's perfect at small sites with few possible customers. I feed the site with a Power/NanoBeam AC and an EdgeRouter and I have a small site for a few $$$

Its surprisingly good. The antenna isn't bad either, but the front to back is serious.. I was getting -60 1/2 mile behind the sector when testing.

Here is a fast drawing of my idea for a support plate that can me created "easy" if you have some friend with CNC.
P.S. The dimensions are not right btw!
The Grey Holes are for the mounting ball pins.
The Red dots are for the 4 holes of the current clamp.
the Blue hole is for the Balls screw.
And the yellow holes are for an U shaped bolt (like the one used in Powerbeams) to mount on the pole.
The only hardware needed is this plate, 4 nuts with bolts sets to connect the current plate and the U style bolt with two nuts.
I think this way can be bullet proof mount for any Litebeam!

I'm looking to deploy 1 or 2 of these. Looks like a shield kit with a better mounting bracket is a must. Here's hoping we see some soon.

This is what I found on Google. http://www.ip-sa.com.pl/anti-noise-cover-litebeam-p-2057.html It looks like a hose clamp is used to tighten the shield to the threaded stud on the back. Pretty cheap. I haven't tried to see if it can be shipped to the US. I rather wait for Chris to develop one that WILL WORK and produce in the USA.
Perhaps Chris can just sell the plans and we can cut and fold our own. A rivet here and there and off we go. No production cost on RF Armor's part for a low cost solution to Micro-pops.
