A connectorized 11 GHZ licensed radio at a disrupting price level! Build it and they will come!

Connectorized might be an issue unless you use a non-standard connector. 11Ghz has antenna size limitations requiring very specific characteristics in 2' and 3' dishes. A connectorized unit might allow for a 2' dish that didn't meet these specs.

how about a modular unit like SAF has that is an 11Ghz radio, and a few in-spec antenna options?

A ~$3k 11Ghz link would be amazing..

Well designing and building a licensed link is a little out of our budget at this time but I promise you guys if people like our switches and other devices I will DEFINITELY go in that direction once we build up some cash since UBNT let us down on that request. :tounge:

Our plan is to build products exclusively for WISPs.

No phones, I did do the AP with the FXS port but that is for WISP customers, not the same thing in my opinion.

I get that. It makes sense on some level to handle from edge to edge. The only 'issue' for me having CPE side equipment beyond the radio is added support calls :/

I wish I could get an inexpensive PoE injector with an FXS port, maybe OSPF capable, but still in front of the client's own router.

I prefer controlling the whole thing, radio on roof, indoor router with POE wan port and optional FXS port all in one box.

If CTI can do it, you can do it!
