No need. With the information from zaltec's last post I was able to duplicate the problem. I'm looking into a fix now.

If possible can you take a look at my request regarding BPDU?

Running RC14 on a WS-12-250-AC is showing something odd on PoE - when I enable PoE on port 12, the Ports tab shows 24v selected and the PoE LED lights up on the switch. However, the christmas tree border doesn't change colour and there is no actual PoE on that port. The status tab also shows the port as down but the PoE column is showing off.

I just assumed a dodgy cable (even though the cable test worked fine) but that didn't fix it, and the swapping to port 11 works fine...

The log for port 11 shows:
Jan 18 00:54:10 UI: Port 11 PoE: changed from 'Off' to '24V'
Jan 18 00:54:12 switch[3320]: PoE enabled on port 11, PoE Smart is starting cable check
Jan 18 00:54:16 switch[3320]: Port 11 cable check results: Open, Open, Open, Open
Jan 18 00:54:16 switch[3320]: Port 11 passed PoE Smart cable check, turning on power

but when trying port 12 only shows:
Jan 18 01:08:56 UI: Port 12 PoE: changed from 'Off' to '24V'

Ive tried reboot / logoff close browser etc but still the same.

I just tried this on my WS-12-250-AC and I am not seeing it, I am running v1.3.9rc14?

Please try the upgrade again to v1.3.9rc14.
If that does not work try a power cycle.
If that does not work please try to factory default it and then set it back up (do not export and import config).

works now, fixed by factory reset of settings. nothing else worked.
guess something got borked on the firmware upgrade as it worked immediately prior - i'll keep an eye on it...

RADIUS Secret is only allowing 26 characters (a 31 character string worked in previous versions).

I copied the string from one switch (running 1.3.9rc13) and pasted it to another (running 1.3.9rc14) and noticed it wasn't all there.

When I tried to type the last few characters the rc14 switch won't let me.

The rc13 switch is showing a red error box on the secret... but it must be using all of the characters that were there before the upgrade because I can still login with RADIUS.
Today is an average day: Worse than yesterday, but better than tomorrow.
