Hi,
I was wondering if the WS-12-250B switch can power a Rocket M3 unit from 24V since the specs say 0,75A and the POE-adapter that ships with the AP says 1A.
Kind Regards

Yes our switches will power ALL Ubiquiti gear.
Typical power draw of that radio is an average of 6 watts with a max of 15 watts during heavy transmit periods.

Re: RM3 1A powerd by 24V?
Thanks for the information, i thought that would be the case after reading some threads.
But i believe the ToughSwitch 8 Pro would also power that device, but i have some weird issues when doing so and wondered if that was a power issue.
I can connect to the webgui just fine, and configure the radio. But i can't find any other networks when sitesurveing.
So my guess was that since the ToughSwitchs limitation was 0.5A / port the unit could draw as much power as it needed to scan the frequancies.
But it might not be a power issue at all. Ever been in that situation before, where no SSID's are displayed while sitesurveing?
Kind Regards
