I have a very odd issue with some phantom data that is destructive.
This is between two sites I have with netonix switches. They are linked with 2 AF5x's. I was looking at my router and noticed a ton of RX pause requests and there was no reason for it. I was able to be on the switch and the router when this event happened. One side just randomly had RX rates that are impossibly high. when this was happening it caused the link to slow to a crawl.
Here is the sending side.
I took this the same time as the other one and set the time to one hour. This seems normal other then the slight dip in the traffic.
Here is what the other side of the link looks like at the same time.
there is no way that the AF5x can pass over 600mbps. but somehow that interface received it with well over 1.4 million PPS. the funny thing is none of the packets actually went to any other interface. Were did all those packets come from? why did they go nowhere and tie up the interface?
A little on my setup here I have port 12 going to the router and that interface is tagged with Vlan 10. that is the only Vlan on that interface so anything that comes in on port 1 should go to port 12 tagged as Vlan 10. The numbers don't add up.
For some reason it looks like a loop... on one side of the interface that went nowhere.

Re: v1.3.8 FINAL bug reports and comments
v1.3.8 is closed firmware
If you experience something you think is a bug you need to upgrade to the latest v1.3.9 as that firmware thread is being developed and v1.3.8 is done.
