1.3.7 - Odd Packet Loss Issue

Chris,
Something absolutely changed between 1.3.4/5 and 1.3.8. And it appears to be related to Flow Control / Pause Frames.
On 1.3.4 traffic flows normally on the switches, pause frames increment, but nothing else big happens. On 1.3.8 the same happens but there are noticeable pauses in network traffic (like where pings will timeout for one or two pings) and then traffic resumes as normal.
Disabling Flow Control on the ports on both sides of the airFiber24 link resolved the issue, but of course flow control is now not on.
Rolling the switch back to 1.3.4 the issue goes away. Roll the switch to 1.3.8 and the packet loss starts happening.

Not sure what to tell you Matt, there were no changes to Flow control or switching between those versions.
Keep digging, you have to be missing something?

I believe you, Chris... but I can sit here all day (and I have) and duplicate this.
Downgrade to 1.3.4 - Issue goes away
Upgrade to 1.3.8 - packet loss
Turn off flow control in 1.3.8 and packet loss goes away.
Downgrade to 1.3.4 - Issue goes away
Upgrade to 1.3.8 - packet loss
Turn off flow control in 1.3.8 and packet loss goes away.

Well prior to v1.3.5 Flow Control did not work on the SFP ports so maybe that is the issue?

Out of curiosity, how was the RADWin radio causing packet loss between and EdgeRouter and directly connected Netonix?

If you are using SFP ports then try changing them from 1G to Auto but be careful as this may cause you to lose control depending on the SFP module as some modules require 1G and not Auto and some modules require Auto and sometimes it require the other device connected to be changed to match up.

No SFPs, these are all the copper ports.
So the RADWin issue - and why I thought this was coincidence.
We were having packet loss on one leg of Internet. Could not for the life of me figure out why we couldn't get more than about 95megabits through and why there was packet loss. THAT issue was several compound things.
After upgrading the Netonix, FC apparently worked with the EdgeRouter-Lite that's wired into it? At that point the EdgeRouter-Lite was actually trying to push more data through the network, but we discovered there was a RADWin chained at a site and these radios only have 100meg ports.
Gigabit Radio Ethernet--->RADWin Ethernet--->RADWin Ethernet--->Switch
So basically, the RADWin Ethernet port was limited the Gigabit radio causing packet loss. After that issue was resolved I thought that was the cause of the packet loss... but after more testing this past week, it turns out there were several things going on.
