You know the BEST thing would be "if possible" would be to have a laptop connected to the switch via a console port and plugged directly into the switch with an Ethernet link then have Team Viewer on the Laptop.
Can not hurt to ask. lol

Well you ordered a replacement unit but lets shoot for Thursday having us log into the Laptop with Team Viewer and access the switch and see what we can see.
I think this is a software issue and we will address this Thursday as Eric is off today on a personal day.

sounds good Thursday is the only day I can this week.
I will install team viewer 11 on the laptop to make things easy.
Should I call you Thursday when I get there or?

Re: firmware loosing web ui 1.3.9rc12 ws-12-250a
"I either get a blank page or it waits for ever for the page to load but nothing ever happens."
I'm not sure my experience is due to the same thing, but I recently was attempting to make changes via the web GUI on a 1.3.9rc12 device and experienced a similar web interface lock-up (blank pages). I had to resort to logging in via SSH and restarting the web server from the shell. That seemed to fix it.
While the web GUI was in "blank page only" mode, I'd clear my browser's cookies and cache and reconnect fresh to the web GUI. No login screen would appear, just a blank page.
Once I had it working again (after restarting the web server via the shell), I double-checked the logs. I couldn't see anything there related.
Aaron out.
