Received switch with parts rattling inside

Fri Feb 12, 2016 2:32 pm

Chris,

We've been switching our tough switches out with the WS-24-400A. All has been good until I received the last switch ordered. The company ordered one February 4th from your web site and it just arrived yesterday afternoon. I just opened the box up and pulling the switch out I can hear parts rattling around inside. I left it in the plastic and put it back in the box. Is this something we need to RMA for repair? Mfg date on the box is 1/17/2016 firmware V. 1.3.8.

It's probably just Chris's wedding ring. He might want that back sometime.

We searched all over the office for what fell out when I opened the plastic. Not a single thing found, but whatever it was it hit me in the leg. Switch programmed up great and then it rained this morning when it was scheduled to be installed. Thanks again for the help Chris.
