Some POEs off after power fail

Fri Apr 01, 2016 6:21 pm

Installing a new site, when we break power to the switch and re establish, random ports don't turn POE power back on.

WS-12-250-DC on 1.3.9

We have also seen this on a WS-12-250-AC

Ideas?

Thanks

Adam

when you say you cut power are you allowing the switch to completely de-power?

If you cut power and re-establish power is less than 5-10 seconds the switch can be left in an unknown electrical state and power up can be erratic and random.

I see nothing wrong with your logs indicating anything.

Saying I have same problem really does not help.

Please explain your issue in more detail.
