That was strictly a GUI issue and would not have affected the operation of the switch in any way. In certain situations the switch was unable to access the list of MAC vendors and that prevented it from displaying the mac table in the GUI.

v1.4.0rc9 Released

Tue Apr 05, 2016 5:59 pm

v1.4.0rc9 released.

Please read release notes in post #1 of this thread or from the Download post and as always use it carefully as it is a Release Candidate.

If you are having issues with the WS-8-250-DC or WS-12-250-DC it may help you with false alerts that cause ports to be shut down for false out of range readings such as temperature or input voltage.

It also has some NEW features such as the Power Tab is now on all models to allow time conditions to shut off ports.

We also took another stab at eliminating False Fan Failure Alerts. - SORRY GUYS

PLEASE TRY THIS ON NON CRITICAL SWITCHES FIRST BEFORE YOU ROLL OUT AND REPORT BACK.

Another strange thing - since upgrade WS-12-250-AC to 1.4.0rc9 I can see in Device/Status fan speed mostly at max (9000-10000rpm), with 1.3.9 mostly stable at 7000rpm. Are there any changes there?

I have higher CPU temp than you...

...but there are still the same conditions..nothing changed. Maybe different RPM vs Temp threshold values?
