Currently using a Finisar FTLF8524P2BNL-LS
Have used a Cisco GLC-ZX-SM in a Netonix switch connecting to an OpenBSD box with an INTEL PRO/1000 MF Adapter (PWLA8490LXBLK5) with a FINISAR FTLF1319F1HTL
First one is multimode and the second one was in single mode.
The Intel pci adaper with the FINISAR was supposed to do either multimode or single mode but I could not make it work connected to any multimode i tried, keep in mind i am not a guru and it almost had to just plug and play for me
Kevin
(Edit) The First Finisar we are using now is on a 1Gig fiber with AT&T, Top speed depending upon what you are doing is about 950Mbit both ways.

The switch sees them but can't get a link. Tried both auto and 1g but haven't gotten anywhere. Oddly I tried one of our older MaxxWave BiDi's that I had (only have a 1310tx side) the switch with the MaxxWave shows a link and on the with the Fiber Store does not. Not sure what to make of that. Both are WS-12-250-AC that I upgraded to 1.3.9
Would love to get these working as this is our standard SFP now.
Can you be more specific? I couldn't find SFP-GE-BX when I searched on fs.com. Or rather, I found 226 things. I don't want to order the wrong ones.
Sure. We use #20140 and its buddy #20141

What's everyone using for outdoor fiber optic runs to BH?
We're gearing up to deploy some new 11Ghz backhauls in a 2+0 config, and going to run fiber optic from there to the Netonix switch, and use aggregation to combine the throughput.
Anyone have any specific SFP modules they use with Netonix and outdoor rated & shielded fiber cable?
Appreciate any suggestions, this is my first ride with using fiber optic to the radio from a netonix switch :)
The radio will be powered by POE, but the date will be fiber...

Chris, have you had a chance to mess with the FiberStore SFPs we sent in?

Unfortunately they don't work for me
WS-12-250-AC
Software 1.3.9
Well that's confusing as they work for Adair?
Did you try both Auto and 1G on the Ports tab?
Did you also try changing the settings on the other device to both 1G and Auto (trying different combinations)
FYI, The Mikrotik RJ45 SFP copper modules work for us.

Hm....
I tested at office with the switch I was going to install. I tested with another switch and it worked perfectly.
At site existing switch recognize SFP modul (even if I switch between the 2 modules), but the switch I tested with at office does not work. Suddenly it does not detect either of the modules ???
What to do ? Any suggestions ?

Are they the same firmware versions (hopefully v1.4.2) and did you try switching between 1G and Auto (on both devices on each sides of the cable).
