It has an uptime of over 2 hours and 45 minutes while the WS-MINI just now came back online with a uptime of a little over 3 minutes.

That just may mean that the MT was able to stay powered if the AC power dropped below 110V and the AF24 POE brick did not or was not able to provide sufficient power when the AC power dropped?

But we do not know that is what is happening?

I would see that circuite that extension cord is plugged into and see if there is some equipment on that circuit that kicks in possibly causing an AC power drop.

Another thing you could do is put a UPS on the POE adapter or in front of the extension power cord.

I am out at the tower now. The switch was stuck in a reboot cycle. I removed the af Poe from the ext cord and now am running it off.my van using an inverter. It looked good at first but now just rebooted again.

I would upgrade it to v1.4.2rc6 then default it and set it back up.

If it still acts up swap it out then bench test it or RMA it

So far since removing the ac400 from the switch it has not rebooted. I am going to give it another half hour and if it is stable I will upgrade and the put the ac400 back in the switch and see what happens.

Well it was stable for over a half hour. I upgraded the defaulted the switch and connected everything as before. Within a couple of minutes the switch rebooted.

No, but sometimes the flash can get corrupted which is why I suggest upgrading to v1.4.2rc6 then defaulting the switch and set it back up do NOT export and import the config that defeats the purpose if the config is corrupted

I did not upload a config. Anyway the switch is stable as long as I do not have the ac-400 attached directly to the switch.

Once I get a chance I will give ss as well as a diagram of how I had it connected. For now I will just not have the back haul connected to the switch.

There is a strong chance I had something setup wrong and that was causing the issue.

Fyi I was trying to do your midspan Poe setup. Never had used that setup type before.

Ahh, yes, maybe you should post up all your Tabs and explain what you want to do with a diagram.

I still suggest v1.4.2rc6

I was already on 1.4.2rc6, but I will get the Tabs and explanation hopefully sometime tomorrow.
