Power out of range 48V

Does this indicate a dying switch? Ive got one that is saying the 48v Board is 46.7v and keeps alerting me with emails.

No, but it would help to know the Model and the version of firmware.

Please upgrade to v1.4.3rc6 and see what happens.

ok will do that tonight afterhours, it is a ws-8-250-ac and is running 1.4.3rc5 atm

it is feeding a netonix mini which is complaining about the 3v also on same firmware

Please post up screen grabs of the Status and Device/Status Tabs for both switches please.
