It seems like I read somewhere that one should not use a -48v rectifier to power the DC switches. I have a WS-12-DC -- not the "Smart" one. If I make sure to get the + and - correct will this work or is there something else that will be go wrong?

Re: DC switches and -48v
None of our DC switches will work with -48V power sources.
No flipping the polarity will not work as you will create a dead short and fry the switch.
