Board 24V passing 25.1 V should I be worried ?

Mon Sep 12, 2016 9:03 pm

I have WS-12-250-DC that runs on a substantial battery bank, and carries a load of 125 watts or so amongst AFX, AF24 and various 24V APs.
The Device Status page has a listing for Board 24V that spends most of its time at 24.7->24.9 V but several times in a matter of minutes the indicator turns RED and shows 25.1 V

Yes there are several changes that could affect this.

Since you are 6+ months out I would do the update at a time in case anything would go wrong you are ready.

The best thing to do is keep switches and equipment up to date and always update easy to access switches first to insure the new versions work with your network configuration.

In the short time no 25.1 V would not concern me.

Are the other voltages such as 3.3V and 48V fluctuating?

Are all of your port current sensors functioning properly? ( look at each port on Status Tab)
