I bought some GLC-SX-MM optics and they do the same things as the maxx wave and mikrotik. The WS shows a green on the status page, says 1G-SFP and the link light is on. The mikrotik knows there is a GLC (or other) optic installed but it never links up to the tik.
If I put both GLC's in the WS they link up normally. Any idea what's going on?

I hope to get my copper sfp's and another set of MM optics next week. received a couple patch cables as well and that didn't seem to make any difference. I won't worry about this to much if I can get the copper SFP's to work.

The Hummingbird SFP's seem to work really well with the Netonix. They're pretty inexpensive at Newegg..

We're tried the fiber and copper ones as well. Both work fine.

I am not sure about Extreme Compatible SFP modules, We say we are Cisco SFP compatible.

Not sure if Extreme is Cisco compatible, is Extreme SFP's Cisco compatible?

Also do you have a link where you purchase these from?
