OH that one, it still lives and probably will come out next year or at least a variant on that design.

We were putting out way too many new products which made it hard to capitalize on the R&D by replacing models with new ones so quickly.

First year:
WS-8-250-AC - Now EOL - Replaced by WS-8-150-AC
WS-8-250-DC - Now EOL - Replaced by WS-8-150-DC
WS-12-250A - Now EOL - Replaced by WS-12-250-AC
WS-12-250B - Now EOL
WS-24-400A - Keeping as it is a good seller even though it is too big for most WISP boxes
WS-24-400B - Now EOL

Second year:
WS-12-250-AC
WS-12-400-AC
WS-12-250-DC
WS-12-DC
WS-6-MINI

Third year:
WS-8-150-AC
WS-8-150-DC

In 3 years we have gone from v1.0.0 to v1.4.5rc8 and introduced the Manager this past year.

Do we have some new things in the works...sure
But we are taking a break from pushing out new products so we can concentrate on refining our existing hardware and software.

You know, finish off what we started before pushing forward again.

We have a few more hardware tweaks to do in existing models.

We want to finish off the firmware, eliminate bugs and add and or finish off a couple more features like QOS, and MSTP.

Build up some house money so we stop playing with our life savings that were loaned to the company to start this business.

Some of the things waiting in the wings are pretty nice and what a lot of people wanted.

Now keep in mind we did all this with a VERY SMALL STAFF!!!

Not complaining; what you've done, and continue to do, is amazing.

Have a niche application--residential off-grid micro-POP, requires 2 or 3 ports, DC is of course more reliable and more efficient. I am sure that others have and will have similar applications, but in the meantime we can use the WS-8-150-DC, just a bit more than we need.

And that there is a difference I, for one, very much appreciate!

Why don't you use the WS-6-MINI with the barrel connector wired directly into your 48v batteries?
It supports 48-56V DC input, so it "might" be ok alone for your solution, but you might also need a 48v-48v meanwell converter to make sure you're always delivering 48v to the mini. However, at that point, it's probably just cheaper to get the WS-8-150-DC :)
