We have STP and LACP disabled od Netonix and in the whole network but Q7 still counting, is that still correct?

Its also used for loop protection, are you using that?

Loop yes! When I disable it...Q7 stops counting. OK if this was your intention then the problem is clear and solved, thanks!

Same browser, same version ? If it's an older device, it could be a older browser engine.

I am running 1.4.6 and have noticed the LACP problem on more recent versions of firmware. Port 4 and 12 are UBNT AC Rocket radios with flow control active. This is a WS-12-50A so I have no idea what port 15 is. This switch only has 14 ports. According to the logs the problems start with port 12; maybe an RSTP issue? I have no log entries on the attached Mikrotik CCR. It appears to be oblivious to all of the hate and discontent in the switch. I have not noticed any problems prior to a version of 1.4.5 RC when I received my first problem similar to this. I upgraded to 1.4.6 last week and I just received the problem again.

Any recommendations are appreciated.

1) You should not use LACP across wireless links

2) UBNT airFIBER and airMAX AC radios have issues with Flow Control

I would use RSTP and with Priority and/or Cost to designate the AF24 as the primary link and 5GHz as the backup link.

As far as how RSTP works we did not invent it or change the way it works, it works the same as on any switch with RSTP:

https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Spanning_Tree_Protocol

https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Spanning_ ... e_Protocol

I would also setup the AF to drop the link when it drops below the capacity of the backup link.

Thanks.. but finaly: do I understand correctly that it would be enough to set RSTP rules for this scenario on one side of the link only?

I would "think" so but I would also play with it in a lab environment first.

You would not need to use radios in the LAB just cables and unplug the cable for the AF to simulate the link dropping.

Remember to set up the AF radio to drop the link when it degrades such as from rain fade.
