Greetings,
I have been having Ethernet issues with Netonix Switches when connected to Cambium ePmp GPS APs. I'm using Apex9 cable (Shielded). The APs will all power up and eventually negotiate up to Gbps as expected. After a few days one or two of them will drop down to 100Mbps. Bouncing the port and/or rebooting the AP will sometimes bring it back up to Gig. Rebooting the switch will get it back to all Gbps for another couple days.
Forcing the switch port to 1Gbps will result in no connection even if I let it sit for awhile. I'm afraid to force the AP to 1Gbps as I may loose contact with it requiring a climb...
I'm having this problem at multiple sites.
One is a two way tower with about 210' of cable grounded at the top and bottom of the cable. I'm not using grounded RJs at this site.
The other tower is a short tower on top of a power plant. 80' of cable with surge protection in the middle. I have terminated all cables the cables at this site with grounded RJ45s..
Any help would be greatly appreciated.

Re: ePmp GPS Ethernet Issues.
I think we'd be more able to help if we knew what model of switch this was/what version of firmware.. How's about posting a capture of your device status tab? Obfuscate any information you don't want public, but do leave the MAC addresses, please.

Re: ePmp GPS Ethernet Issues.
We have 4 towers with ePMP powered by netonix switch and and didn't see those kind of problems?
It's seem to be a ground problem. It's not grounded RJ45 cable but shielded one. You need a ground with better conduction than RJ45 cable so ESD WON'T pass trough RJ45 cable and create those kind of problem.

I don't want to rule out grounding, but if the failure goes away when you change the switch out for another, I'd really like the chance to pry into it and see what's going on.
Do you have availability on a replacement in order to send it in?
