I am posting v1.4.7.rc10 here shortly to change the way it works a little as described above.
Now the power supply Micro will not lose the values unless input voltage drops well below 9V DC - May vary from unit to unit (Tolerances)

it's available, first post in the 'download latest firmware' thread. Chris forgot to change the post text to rc10 from rc9, but if you click the rcX link, it will pull rc10.
