I have a WS-24-400B with 1.4.6 and on port 1 the PoE dropdown has 24V and 48V greyed out. The only available options are 48VH and off.

If you are currently powering 48VH and there is a link you can not select another power option.

Turn POE OFF and the link drops and then all should be available.

THe logic is if you have a link and no POE option you do not need POE so all are greyed out.

If you have a POE option selected and a link then the correct POE option is selected and other options are greyed out.

I did a search for "greyed" and I got this post and many more that explain why.

If there is a link and no POE option selected then all POE options will be greyed out for that port.

Meaning if you are powering a device currently you have to turn the POE off then turn it back on to change the option.

The logic here is that if the device already has a link and is operating normally you do not want the user to accidentally fact finger and apply an incorrect POE option because the next thing that happens is I get an RMA request for a port that the user claims came DOA. :pissed:

There are "many" posts already on here explaining this, here is one where I "SEARCHED" for the word "greyed": viewtopic.php?f=17&t=1696&p=12737&hilit=greyed#p12737
