Only reload of browser is a cure now (previously we had 1.4.7RC7 without this bug). We test it on WS-12-250-AC.

I tested on two models and had no problem to deselect the port.

What browser? If Chrome, try incognito to see if disabling add-ons makes a difference.

Grey field in backgroud works, click "on port" does not work (1.4.7RC14).

Hes correct, this is not so much a bug but a mis-communications between me and Eric.

Below is Skype conversation going on right now:
[11:38:06 AM] Eric Stern: that's not a bug, that's how you asked for it to work

[11:41:53 AM] Christopher Sisler: It works as I wanted now as far as selecting but I did not ask for you to take out the deselect if you click a row that is selected already

[11:42:30 AM] Eric Stern: you have to, otherwise on the Ports tab every time to select a field to edit it toggles the selection

[11:43:11 AM] Eric Stern: before clicking on the edit fields didn't trigger the selection so it was fine

[11:43:55 AM] Christopher Sisler: I asked you to accept clicking on fields in the row where as before selecting values or input fields you did not select the row.

OK then do it this way. If you select a Row that is not already selected no matter where they select in that row you select.

If the row is already selected and they select an input field you do not deselect but if they select anything other than an INPUT field you deselect it.

[11:45:54 AM] Eric Stern: this makes more sense. in no other place (spreadsheets, windows explorer, etc) does clicking on something toggle the selection. click = select

[11:49:10 AM] Christopher Sisler: Can you do it the way I just outlined above for next version?

[11:49:53 AM] Eric Stern: yes

[11:50:02 AM] Christopher Sisler: Thank you!

That is how I always did it. IMHO it is not even intuitive to click once to select and click again to deselect.

The selecting/deselecting behavior of a port row also had its drawbacks: When you had selected one port/row and you clicked the options button to e.g. display port statistics, the row would be deselected. Not a big deal as the port details dialog has the port number in its heading. However, the port bounce confirmation dialog does not tell which port is going to be bounced - and the row selection is gone at this time.

That's why I like the rc14 behavior better. It is more deterministic and clicking the grey area to deselect seems like a natural thing to do.

Finaly I can also live with current RC14 state. I was just learned porevious way to select/deselect...so now I can learn the new way.

Just unpacked new WS-10-250-AC, no cfg changes - ONLY upgraded to 1.4.7RC14, the whole configuration stay untouched...and I constantly see this message in the top of WEB UI everywhere:

The configuration has changed on the device. You will not be able to save any configuration changes. Click here to reload the configuration.

"Click here" several times and message appear again and again. Is that correct? (I am in Firefox latest version 52.0)

Thanks it seems that helped!

But maybe another bug here on screenshot - in port settings when you select all ports... then there is no "blank" option on FlowControl, so you must always select something, otherwise you switch FC off on all ports.

Nope, not a bug. You have ports selected that have links and since this is global and affect all selected links it will not let you do anything as we do not let you apply or change POE options on ports that have links for safety reasons.
