I happen to have ordered 4 of them because I went through this thread and read that someone had suggested them and stated that they were working. So is this a case-by-case issue?
NOT WORKING!

I need to know, which SFP -> RJ45 module works with the latest Netonix firmware and will continue to operate in the future?

TY.

1) What firmware version are you using on the switch?
2) Did you play with the Speed/Duplex settings on both sides of the link?

To throw in my 2 cents... I upgraded WS-12-250-AC switch from 1.4.3rc7 to 1.4.7rc11 today. Now MikroTik S-35LC20D appears to be working - running an RB260GS at the other end. Had to set both ends to 1G - not Auto.

Interesting to know I just ordered a bunch of Max wave SFP modules because of all the problems we were having with the mikrotik ones.

sfp converter, 10Gtek GLC-T for Cisco
RJ45 SFP works fine in Netonix switches,

for that time when you really need one more port and you have two empty fiber ports,

Available on Ebay for 19.00

There is something weird with SFP. I can get ONE GLC to work, but not TWO (one in each sfp). I have a few switches where two work just fine. But many more where I can't get two to work simultaneously. It seems like the board Rev is the only difference. On board REV E no problem with two, but on Rev D or REV B can only get one to work at a time. I can reboot and sometimes get the other port to work and then the one that was working stops. It's very odd.

All switches running 1.4.6

Well I would upgrade to v1.4.7rc14 (just because that is the standard process to try the latest firmware first)

Then I would try with set to Auto for speed/duplex, then try setting to 1G but remember if you set one side of a link to 1G or Auto you need to match that setting on the other device on the the other side of the link.

If that failed I would try another brand but if that failed then it would be RMA time.
