WS-6MINI Lockup after swapping AP?

Replace with the one you bench tested, in my opinion, and force 100mbit where possible, then RMA. I'll do what I can to expedite the RMA process on my end, so the quicker we get them here, the quicker I can get them back to you.

Re: WS-6MINI Lockup after swapping AP?
I decided to test the other mini I had on my shelf. 1.4.2rc6 and board 'E'. All 6 port 1G with ports 4-6 also doing POE. Right now after 7 minutes I have not seen the 3.3V change at all. It is a solid 3.3V. Does that mean this board is probably good or do I need to bench it longer?

bench it half an hour, if it's not wobbling at all, it's fine.

Re: WS-6MINI Lockup after swapping AP?
It has been 30 minutes without any wobble. I am going to deploy this switch.
Can I RMA the other 2 switches? The one from the tower and the one that wobbled on a bench test?
Please be aware that the one I bench tested has the Warranty sticker broken as I replaced the board in it. Chris shipped me a board due to damage caused by a ground loop. I paid for the board of course.

The normal warranty period does not apply to this issue, we will fix this for free, period. there is no time limit, no grace period. I personally thank you for giving us the opportunity to correct the original defect.
I know there's a fair bit of headache and frustration involved, and for that I apologize, again.

Re: WS-6MINI Lockup after swapping AP?
I have replaced the tower switch with the stable bench one. All ports are linked up at 1G and all APs are now AC-Prisms. It has been a couple of hours and it stable. I will not be comfortable until it has been up for 24hrs with no issue.
Once that threshold has been met I want to RMA the tower switch and the one bench switch with the wobbly 3.3V. How do I go about doing that?

I think you'll be fine, my opinion though.
the instructions to start the RMA can be found in this thread: http://forum.netonix.com/viewtopic.php?f=6&t=1259

Well it has been close to 24 hours with no issues. Definitely appears to be a switch issue and most likely the 3.3v cap problem you and Chris told me about.
I am emailing an RMA request for the tower switch along with the one I bench tested that had a wobbly 3.3v as well.

Re: WS-6MINI Lockup after swapping AP?
Well it looks like the mini that I referenced above has just started doing a reboot loop after being in service for 4 months. I assume it is the 3.3V cap as it is from the same batch and purchase date.
Going to the tower to replace it with a mini that was previously repaired from RMA for this issue.
Please advise if this could be something else.
What happens is the switch goes offline. My tower router shows the uplink interface going up and down several times, then after the link becomes stable I see the switch has rebooted along with all the AP on the switch rebooting as well.
No ethernet errors or other issues I can see on the switch. It has done it twice today with about 7 minutes between unexpected reboots.

Re: WS-6MINI Lockup after swapping AP?
The fact that it lasted 4 months leads me towards the idea that there may be some other issue at work here, but I won't know until I get a first-hand look. I take it there were no other changes to your deployment, I.E. you didn't plug anything else in or make any configuration changes?
