Hi,
Is there any chance you could investigate compatibility with the Mikrotik S-RJ01 as it seems to be the cheapest copper module on the market (by a considerable margin).
WS-8-150DC detects it when I force gigabit (autoneg doesn't work) but no traffic flows over it.
Thanks
Netonix S-RJ01

Re: Netonix S-RJ01
If you set one side to 1G (our switch) you need to set 1G on the other device on the other side of the link. (they should always match either Auto or 1G on both sides)

Hi, yes I'd already tried forcing it. In fact, I tried every combination I could :-)

I asked Eric to order 1 in and check for you.

Re: Netonix S-RJ01
Thought this might be useful info as I did some other compatibility testing today so I don't get any nasty surprises at a tower site.
Still very keen to get a cheap SFP->copper module working as we run out of ports frequently on the 8 port model (6 + 2SFP) and Mikrotik RB750GR3 doesn't have SFP support.
Mikrotik S-85DLC05D doesn't work
Mikrotik S-35LC20D doesn't work
Mikrotik SplusDA0003 works (SFP+ 3m direct attach cable)
Ubiquti UDC-1 works ( Unifi Direct Attach Copper Cable)

Re: Netonix S-RJ01
Cost more but not that much and work fine with several brand including Cisco ASR, Netonix, Huawei, Positron Access, etc.

Edit: Just saw that price for robofiber was shown in Canadian currency so price should be similar.

Re: Netonix S-RJ01
I just try the S-RJ01 and it work fine, just like the robofiber. I have a robofiber in port 14 and S-RJ01 in port 13, both work fine up to a toughswitch pro while switching the cable between both.
Firmware Version: 1.4.8rc6
Model: WS-12-250-AC
Board Rev: E
Anyway, I had better compatibily with Robofiber than Mikrotik so I recommend those but Tik should work fine with Netonix.
