WS-12-250-AC showing incorrect power consumption
I have a site with a ws-12-250-ac running 12 uap ac lr access points. I logged into the switch today because I was having issue with a 10gtek sfp module losing connectivity. The switch shows power consumption as high as 40 watts on some ports which is likely impossible since max rated consumption of this particular ap is 6 watts I think. I upgraded to latest firmware (1.4.8rc7) and it shows me the same thing. Is this a known issue with this model? Seems like the switch might be malfunctioning and I'm worried about failure. No warnings in the logs or any indication there is an issue. I have attached some screens.

I like to compare the current sensors in our switches to cave canaries - They're the first to go, when there's an underlying issue.
Yes, they're providing incorrect readings. Yes, your switch will fail if the cause isn't rectified. The good news is that the damage is repairable, at this point, and we'll work with you to get your setup right.
The main question is: how are you grounding in this particular system? Take a look at it from a step back - Any loose ground connections, ground rods wiggling around in the dirt, are you bonding service grounds and system grounds?
I would recommend sourcing a spare, but don't refresh the unit until we get your issue sorted, unless it becomes explicitly necessary.

Re: WS-12-250-AC showing incorrect power consumption
The unit is grounded via clamp to electrical conduit. I know this isn't necessarily the best ground method but is all I have access to. Chris, maybe you missed it but all ports are connected to and powering uap ac lr Unifi APs. SFP is uplinked to an Edgerouter.
My alternative at this point, if failure is imminent, is to pop it out and replace with a couple tough switches I have. The environment has several more 12 port Wisp switches which seem to be running fine and have been for some time.

This type of damage is from ground current (best guess - can't say for sure until we bench it).
Here are some good posts on grounding:

Since September 2016 we have added a modification to "help" handle ground current but this is not a excuse to not do proper grounding.
I would at minimum add another NEW electrical service ground rod and bond it to the old ones and clean up any corrosion.
I would BOND the electrical service ground rods to the tower ground rods with #2 wire.
I would then swap out that unit with a "spare" which any WISP should "always" have spares for everything and RMA that unit in for repair.
