The only scenario where flow-contril is good is a dedicated port on a router for each radio else it will only hurt your network. Is case of doubt, disable flow-control and let TCP do is job. FC will only make things worst, maybe even really bad, if not in a ideal scenario.

Things could be a lot better with PFC but few devices support it since it's mainly use for fiber-channel in datacenter.

Okay, so I should have flow control disabled even between uplink switches that they are physically wired to also?
