Greetings,
We have Cisco Switches running Cisco RPVST+ This is Rapid Per Vlan Spanning Tree
In our lab we have a
Cisco-A P24 --> Netonix-A P1 --> P24 Cisco-B
P2 --> P24 Cisco-C
We have RPVST+ on the Cisco's and RSTP on the Netonix.
We have VLAN 100, 102, 104 on all switches, but the traffic is not passing between the Cisco Switches.
Are they compatible with each other?
Jamie

Re: Cisco to Netonix Switchnig
VLAN is a standard protocol so it should work with any device. Show your vlan config on both Cisco and Netonix device.
Also, RPVST+ is Cisco proprietary. You should use RSTP on both device. Per instance (groupe of VLANs) will be available once MSTP is stable.
