WS-12-250-DC Netonix voltage fluctuating

Fri Oct 20, 2017 12:14 pm

Hi

We noticed one of our WS-12-250-DC was giving intermittent issues when on site.
Running fw 1.4.7
Pinging in perfectly but inaccessible at times when trying to access via web GUI.

Input Voltage graph showing fluctuations.
Very small - between 48.1V and 48.2V - but we usually never see any fluctuations on this graph.
I've attached pic of this.
This was powered through a Tycon 48V charge controller which we use on all our sites.

We have this swapped now and back in the office powered through a Meanwell CLG-150-48A.
Factory reset the switch.
Still seeing these fluctuations on the status page but switch is accessible and seems to be operating ok.

What could cause this and is it anything to worry about?

So, intermittent GUI not responding can be one of a lot of things going on in software. First thing I would recommend would be upgrading to 1.4.8rc12 - this should also take care of your jittery voltage graph, but let us know if it doesn't. I'm not reading anything that would convince me there's a hardware issue, so i wouldn't be too worried just yet.
