We are talking about the WS-8-150-DC unit.
There is but a single board in that unit as the DC power supply is on the same board as the switch.
So basically the board is 85% to 90% of the cost of that unit
Parts in a WS-8-150-DC
White Retail Box
Metal Chassis and screws
Fan and screws
DC Terminals
Red and Black Terminal Wires
Decals and Rubber Feet
Board <- MOST OF THE EXPENSE OF THIS UNIT
Chances are we can fix the board if you RMA it but I understand you're in another country.
If the DC controller chip is fried chances are you will see not damage to the outside of the chip as you only went over the allowed voltage by less than 10 volts at 84V DC in. You would not see a smoking gun crater in the board just a dead chip.
