We recently installed a WS-26-500-DC on a site, replacing a DC 12 port we had before. Everything with the 12 port netonix was running fine, we just ran out of space on the switch and needed to install more radios. We did the swap, uploaded a backup and everything ran fine. Until we had to reboot an AP through the interface. When the port came back up, the mac address disappeared. I tried turning the port off and on a few times and it would answer a few pings then disappear the mac and stop answering again. I rebooted the netonix and all of the ubiquiti APs on the site disappeared as well, along with the initial problematic AP.
I upgraded the netonix firmware. Everything came back up. At 2 am, we have a scheduled turning off of the APs and they should come back up at 6 am. They didn't. Once again, all of the Ubiquiti APs stopped passing traffic. This is something we were using with the previous netonix and worked fine.
We had to reboot the netonix physically in order to get the ports working again. This is only affecting the M5 Ubiquiti radios for some reason. I have netmetals and GEN2 Ubiquitis and ePMPs which are not affected, running on the same switch with the same vlans configured and the same configurations. As well as this was all working with the other netonix, it started happening when we switched to the WS-26-500-DC.
It's running the lastest version on the site: 1.4.8.

Re: WS-26-500-DC Traffic Problem
I have no idea.
Please post up screen grabs of the following TABs:
Status
Ports
VLANs
Power
Device/Status
Device/Config
Any other TABs with changes
Suggestions:
1) Default the WS-26-500-DC and manually set up, maybe there is a bug on the importing of the config from the WS-12-250-DC?
Are you setting the port speed/duplex on any of the radios? Not suggested, should be AUTO except in very rare situations.

Also make sure the port speed duplex is Auto in the radios and the radio firmware is updated to latest version.

Right now, someone made a change in config to an AP and it went down. Apparently, if anything causes the port to drop and come back up, it'll lose communication.
Dec 1 12:32:39 Port: link state changed to 'down' on port 17
Dec 1 12:32:39 STP: set port 17 to discarding
Dec 1 12:32:40 Port: link state changed to 'up' (100M-F) on port 17
Dec 1 12:32:40 STP: set port 17 to discarding
Dec 1 12:32:43 STP: set port 17 to learning
Dec 1 12:32:43 STP: set port 17 to forwarding
We tried changing the AP to a new one. No mac.
We tried new cable. No mac.
We tried changing ports 3 times. No mac.
Reboot the whole netonix physically and everything comes up. Remote reboot does not work.

1) Please upload screen grabs as defined in my footer which makes it a lot easier to view screen grabs. Upload each TAB as a separate file. Do not make a new post go back and edit your post with the link to the screen grabs. Also do not block out port descriptions if they indicate the type of radio or device on that port. If you have some information you do not want then edit picture but let us know what device is on each port in the port description.
2) You should disable STP/RSTP on any switch port facing an AP and the radio itself, reference these posts:

Re: WS-26-500-DC Traffic Problem
I tried disabling RSTP, but it didn't make a different. RSTP is enabled on by default, no? It was configured that way on the other switch and I never had this problem. I can disable it, that's not a problem. The AP is still exhibiting the same behavior.

Re: WS-26-500-DC Traffic Problem
I would disable STP on all the ports facing the radios and make sure it is disabled in the radios
I would also try disabling Flow Control on all ports just to see if this is possibly some sort of Flow Control issue.

Re: WS-26-500-DC Traffic Problem
I sent a tech out, reset to default, reconfigured everything from scratch. First time up, everything was ok. No STP configured. As soon as a change was made on the AP, it didn't come backup.
