OK so your saying if you make a change to the UBNT radio which is an airMAX older 802.11 N radio you lose communications to the radio?

You are not having this issue with newer airMAX AC radios when you make changes to them?

What was the change on the radio?

Do you have STP DISABLED on the radio (sorry if you already answered this)?

By chance are you using MAC alias (not using the factory default MAC) on the older airMAX radios?

When you make a change to the older airMAX N radio and you lose access to the radio can you regain access to the radio if you power down the switch port then power the switch port backup rebooting the radio (Port Bounce would be the quickest way to do this)?

I changed the frequency on the radio. I'm guessing since when a change is applied the interface goes down/up that it might trigger...... something? The AC radios, nor the netmetals or the ePMPs are affected. STP is disabled. No we're not using MAC alias.

The only way to regain access to the AP is to physically reboot the entire netonix switch. If I reboot it through the GUI it does not work.

I Will be honest I got nothing. There is nothing differnt between any of our switches as they ALL use the exact same switch core and exact same firmware so something had to change from the move from the WS-12-250-DC to the WS-26-500-DC

I am assuming the radios in question are on ports:
7
8
9
10
17

Please Provide what radios are located on these ports.

Example:
7 - Rocket M5
8 - Rocket M5

Also post up screen grabs of one of the radios in question config Tabs showing any changes from default.

Why is it enabled by default then? We had an issue with a sector that kept dropping and the log was _full_ of the disabled/learning/forwarding loop for that port.

That's a silly question/statement, sorry but it is. :ak:

We have no idea what people are going to plug into every port.

If we DISABLED by default some people would ask why it is disabled by default.

Since we do not build equipment for consumers but rather WISPs which we assume are IT savvy and fully understand Layer 2 protocols such as STP and would chnage the configuration as needed.

It is ENABLED by default to prevent a loop which is a bad thing.
