Re: Can't get SNMP to Work
I have the same issue. I keep needing to disable and then enable it to get it to work. It would seem every time I update the firmware, SNMP dies.mhoppes wrote:Oh that's odd. I had to disable and then re-enable the SNMP server on the switches and now everything is working. Version 1.0.8

Re: Can't get SNMP to Work
What OID are you looking to for the port description? I've only been able to pull the default description, not what I entered.

FIXED
Eric changed/fixed SNMP not reporting port description entered in UI in the latest firmware release v1.0.10rc8 now available for download.
Please test it and report back what you think!
There is a few more improvements we want to put into v1.0.10 final release by next Tuesday hopefully after we fully test it.
We will then release the RC version of 1.1.0 for those that want some of the new features outlined in firmware road map.
We would like to finish off the WISP Switch firmware in January so we can have Eric concentrate on the CAP so we can get that released.
Look for the 8 port switch to become available around 3rd week of January for those that want a small form factor switch.
BETA DC versions of 8 and 12 port hopefully by end of January for those that are in need!

Re: Can't get SNMP to Work
rc8 fixed both issues... mini_snmpd starts on reboot and descriptions now show on a walk.

Re: Can't get SNMP to Work
Yea but we broke SMTP awhile ago in 1.0.10rc5 and Les just noticed it so we will post new version in about 30 minutes.

So... I have to test *every* feature every time a new release comes out?
